Radical Leadership® and Bassett Creek DentalI collaborate with other Radical Leadership® facilitators to lead experiential learning workshops designed to create new awareness and introduce the Radical Leadership® tools in both public and in-house, customized offerings. In 2019, Bassett Creek Dental, a thriving, patient-focused dental practice located in Golden Valley, MN was looking for change. The Bassett Creek leadership team knew that to best serve their patients they wanted to create a patient-focused, team-oriented, and authentic dental practice. To realize this vision they are partnering with Therese Sparkins, President of Radical Leadership® and me to experience a facilitated Engaged and Alive workshop and ongoing team coaching. As a result of our work together, they have been experiencing individual and cultural transformation and creating new possibilities for their practice.

CargillIn 2015, Cargill evolved their vision of leadership based on the belief that whether or not Cargill employees manage people, they are all leaders — each employee’s everyday actions are what leads to their success. I partnered with Cargill to realize this vision by redesigning the enterprise wide leadership competency model (The Cargill Leadership Expectations -- CLE). Through this work we created clear expectations for behavior --for the “how” as well as the “what”. I supported Cargill in implementing these expectations as the foundation for the comprehensive employee experience from bringing people in and nurturing their development to recognizing and rewarding their successes. As a result of this work, Cargill employees know what is important as they grow in their careers.

GlaxoSmithKlineIn 2011, the President of GlaxoSmithKline US (GSK) had a dream — she wanted her sales people to be the most trusted pharmaceutical sales representatives in the industry. She realized this dream through the Patient First project — launched and implemented in partnership with Javelin HR Solutions and GSK. To be most trusted it was critical for the GSK sales force to know their products better than anyone, build authentic relationships with their customers, and understand the complex healthcare environment deeply. In partnership with Javelin HR Solutions, I played an integral role in designing the process for assessing and developing the competencies of scientific knowledge, customer engagement, and business acumen and tying results directly to incentive compensation for the GSK sales force. I partnered with Javelin HR Solutions and GSK to develop and implement fair data analytics processes and reporting to inform future assessment development, provide feedback, and enhance employee development and outcomes based on competency results. I served as the main client contact throughout the last two years of the Patient First project and oversaw a team of over 50 research scientists and assessors. At the end of this project, surveyed doctors ranked GSK sales representatives as the most knowledgeable and trusted in the industry — a vision realized!
